See the Colourful ‘Los Trompos’ Installation in Downtown Calgary May 28, 2024
Los Trompos is bringing a splash of colour to Lot 6 through the month of May and you’re going to want to explore it. We love a larger than life at exhibit and Los Trompos is bringing a bright and colourful installation, to the heart of the city, until May 28th, 2024.
There is no cost for the exhibit, located at Lot 6 (311 8 Street S.W.) making this one rise to the top of the best, free things to do with kids in Calgary this month. Hint: Looking for more free kids fun events in Calgary? You can find those on our event calendar, here.
Where should you park? Park at Lot 58 and enjoy evening and weekend rates at $0.50 per ½ hour.
Los Trompos in Calgary
What is Los Trompos? Spanish for “spinning tops”, Los Trompos was designed by Mexican creators Héctor Esrawe and Ignacio Caden, and tour produced by Creos. Los Trompos has brought joy and colour to cities all over the world with incredible fanfare, including Detroit, Montreal, Chicago and Las Vegas.
